Our sweet boy, Cain, has been adopted!! He now has a human mom and dad with no other pets so he’ll be loved and spoiled rotten – as he should be! His name is now Jaq, after the mouse in Cinderella, in honor of the family’s previous dog who was called Gus, one of the other mice in the movie.
Cain was rescued from the Balch Springs Shelter and he came to us with terribly crooked front legs. For a while it looked like surgery might be in his future but changing his food to one that better met his nutritional needs cleared that issue up. Before long, he was romping and playing with foster, Naomy’s, other dogs, gaining strength as he went. You can see from the photos just how far he’s come!!
Not only did Naomy foster Cain, she introduced him to his fur-ever family! They saw him on Naomy’s Facebook page and knew right away that he was destined to be theirs.
