We had a double adoption for Chanel and Paisley! Both girls have both been waiting a while to find their forever home. Chanel, young adult Spaniel mix, (the brown dog in the photos!) was pulled from the Balch Springs Shelter in July 2015 and nursed through a horrific case of heartworms.
When the Whitson family started looking for a dog, they were referred to RHS by volunteer Rich Lesky, who works with Kerrie Whitson. They looked at several dogs and put in applications for Paisley and/or Chanel. The final decision was that they wanted BOTH girls, so our foster sisters get to stay together while they blend into their new family. Their new family was very excited to adopt Paisley and Chanel; they asked loads of questions, and put in a lot of research and hard work to make their house ready for two small, curious dogs.
Chanel was fostered first by Pat Rotundo and then by Martha Denton.
