We’re on a roll with another “one and done” adoption today! Funny little corgi-mix, Chess, met his fur-ever family on his very first MTP outing last weekend and went home with them today! Chess’ new humans had been searching online for a new addition to their family and just fell in love with Chess’ “freedom ride” photograph. As the only pet in his new parents’ lives, he is sure to get (and give!) lots of love and attention.
He went home decked out in a blue patterned leash and collar matched with a fancy halter that took us quite a while to figure out. You could see Chess wondering, “OK, just how many humans DOES it take to get me dressed???”
His final name is undetermined at this point. Finley is under consideration, but his parents are going to wait and see just how attached he is to the name “Chess” before they make any changes.
Chess was rescued from the Balch Springs Shelter and fostered by Kris Keesy and her family. Thanks for another wonderful fostering job, Kris!
