Adorable Beanie Baby was adopted yesterday by a sweet, retired couple, who has another terrier, Molly, who looks like she could be Beanie’s big sister. They report that Bean is doing great, has met the grandchildren, and is getting more and more confident each day.
Beanie Baby, formerly Bean, came to RHS from The Street Dog Project (TSDP). Her back story from TSDP – A really sweet guy takes in street dogs that show up…Bean’s mom & dad being two of them, when Bean was just a pup (there were two pups, but one didn’t make it) He wasn’t able to touch Bean, but loved & looked after her. We spayed and neutered Mom & Pops, placed their previous litter of pups, and loaned him a cat trap to try to catch Bean. She’d already had puppies , too, on the streets that didn’t make it. He caught her the next day! Between her injured eye, shyness, & a few other medical needs to clear up he agreed to surrender her to us so she could become an indoor dog (thanks to YOU, as he didn’t think it was possible). Her parents are two of my all time favorite dogs & love seeing them as often as possible! I’ll have to gather & send you pics as I have some in my gallery of her street days with her family if you’d like. Beyond appreciate your love, hard work, & commitment to winning her over to the spoiled pet life, even finding her the perfect home ♥️
I LOVED fostering this special girl. Miss her already!
