After over 55 applications and two meet and greets, one in the pouring rain under a pagoda at a park in Carrollton, Bailey finally found her forever home.
This past Saturday afternoon Bailey went to live with her new parents, their 15 year old daughter, Cate, their Boxer / Black Mouthed Cur, Lexi, and Tortoiseshell kitty, Hazel. Bailey will have lots of love and attention with a work-from-home mom and a dog and cat to play with.
Bailey came to us, along with her siblings Patrick and Conner, from the Red Oak Shelter. Bailey was fostered with a tremendous amount of love and care by first time foster Betsy Kuriakose and her two fabulous daughters Rani and Jhaya. This was very tough on them all, and many tears were shed Saturday afternoon, but it sounds like Bailey is settling in and will be very happy in her new home.
