With great sadness, I helped my foster, Robbie crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. Robbie had been battling Mast Cell Tumors since February. He had surgery & chemotherapy and both were not effective in killing the cancer. He was given 1 to 2 months to live, but he almost doubled it with his strong will to live.
I started fostering Robbie in 2018. He was such a cool and easy foster. He was never demanding of my time. He loved to be around with people. He always welcomed anyone with enthusiasm and wagging tail. The feral cats in my community adore him. They love Robbie so much that they would accompany our daily walks.
Robbie will always hold a very special place in my heart. I set him free of illnesses. In fact, he has real wings now….my sweet Robbie, runs freely!
