Dart and his brother, Griffyn, were rescued from Balch Springs shelter back in October. Griffyn, originally Oreo, went to the Thomas family and Dart, originally Milo, came home with Bill and I before going to Janet Coons the next day.
Dart immediately got along well with Janet and her little dog, Sophie. Dart likes to cuddle and play with Sophie and really enjoys the cat tower as well. He is an incredibly sweet cat and Janet could not help falling for him.
The family decided to make things official this month, just in time for Christmas. Janet says that the little guy is the best Christmas present she could have asked for, even if her little tree has to be up on the fireplace mantle. 😉
Dart will likely be keeping his name, so chosen based off of his habits of darting around the room and chasing after our feet. Janet plans to continue fostering for RHS and is currently caring for Tubbs and Tidbit, our Easter kittens.
