We want to thank Richardson Humane Society, and especially Martha Denton , for fostering our Amazing Gracie so many years ago. Gracie went over the Rainbow Bridge on Friday with her furever companion, her Purple Hippo 
Martha spent many many days nursing her back from distemper, heartworms and skin conditions, before letting us adopt her. She was labeled a “special needs” baby, but mostly, she was just extremely special 
We worried whether we could meet all her needs at first, but we didn’t need to worry at all, because nothing stopped Gracie
She filled our hearts with so much love each day, and you would think that was enough to last an eternity, but when she left us Friday, she left a huge hole in our hearts. We are grateful that RHS gave us such a treasure for us to love for the last 13 years
