We had a very, very special adoption – Harlie, our first Single Lady to ‘put a ring on it’!! When Holly and Pat met with a potential foster for Harlie, we all hoped it would turn out to be a good place for her to live while she continued her search for a fur-ever home. It didn’t take very long at all before Bob announced that he was not going to continue fostering Harlie; he wanted to adopt her instead!! He plans to keep her name but change the spelling to the more traditional “Harley.” Congratulations Harlie/Harley and Bob, and a huge thank you to the staff at Velvet Snout for taking care of Harlie for so long, to Pat for going on her home visit, and most especially to Holly for being Harlie’s best friend – taking her for walks, chauffeuring her to events, buying her treats, and most especially, loving her when she most needed a friend.
