Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Maggie. She was the sweetest, best girl ever and it broke our hearts. She was diagnosed with inoperable bladder cancer but with some good intervention she lived 1 1/2 years after her diagnosis. We didn’t put her through chemo but she had some medication and we gave her subcutaneous infusions to keep her hydrated. She didn’t seem to feel at all bad until the last few days. We still miss her every day (there will never be another one quite like she was)!
I will tell you she was a VERY loved and adored pup! Everyone who met her loved her. Even our veterinarian cried when we took her in to be put to sleep. We called her “The sweetest of the sweety dogs”.
