Another one of Molly’s Mob, Maya P, is home! She came to her new family at just the right time. On a Friday night, we met at Huffines Park to meet their current dog, Jayzie, and their adult daughter’s dog, Hiccup. Introductions went fine and Maya was to go to the new home as a foster-to-adopt on Sunday.
Jayzie, a 14 year old lab with lung cancer, knew she was leaving her family in good hands, because she went downhill that night and went OTRB on Saturday. The family was devastated but so thankful Maya was coming to fill in the hole in their hearts just a little.
Maya has a mom who loves to go on long walks and Hiccup to play with. She has made herself at home and they love her very much.
Special, special thanks to Christi Rodakis and her family for fostering Maya. They had never had a dog before, so fostering an active puppy was quite the learning experience! Letting her go was very, very hard but they did a wonderful job with her in preparing her for her forever home. We hope you’ll foster with us again!
