Look how far this beautiful girl has come in 8 months! From a box on the side of a highway in Young County in November 2015 to a loving home in July!
Ramona (and Delilah who is still looking for her forever home) were found abandoned on the side of a rural highway. Delilah was lying down, and Ramona was standing over her. When their rescuers put them in the car, Ramona returned to her “protective stance” over smaller, weaker Delilah. Thank you to her rescuers, who contacted RHS and gave us the chance to help them.
Ramona went to her forever home tonight! Thanks to her foster mom, Kelley Gordon, and to Laurie Baker for doing the home visit and to Laurie for doing the contract. Ramona has a wonderful new mom and a couple of fun kids to call her own! Thanks, also to Amanda Nogay and Pooch Hotel for helping out with Ramona.
