It took a while but together, they managed to convince their long-time foster mom, Pat, to keep them forever!
Sophie has been in the RHS system since 2014; she just wasn’t able to find the right family for her needs. After losing a leg to cancer, our sweet senior girl settled quietly into life at Pat’s house and made herself a permanent fixture.
Raphael has been with RHS since 2016, nearly his entire life. MTPs were difficult for him; he just wasn’t comfortable with strangers so it made finding a home for him challenging. After his first foster mom, Marilyn, passed away, Raphael divided his time between Martha and Pat’s houses. After a while, Raphie convinced Pat that, like Sophie, he was meant to stay with her forever and they made their family official on June 17.
