Funny how things work out sometimes. 🙂 RHS volunteer Ashley Slocum posted a request on her neighborhood message board, asking if anyone could loan her a crate to transport a small dog (Scarlett) to last Saturday’s MTP event. Someone responded, happened to mention they were looking for a small dog, and Ashley invited them to MTP to visit with an adoption counselor about Scarlett.
Yesterday evening Scarlett was adopted, and her new name is Daisy! She will have an energetic boy to play with, another larger dog pal, and a dedicated and patient mom and dad to love her and teach her.
