After a few weeks together, Tucker and his foster mom, Lindsay, made it a permanent deal on Friday evening! Lindsay adopted RHS alum, Sammie (fostered by Martha Denton) back in 2009. Sammie passed away in February and Lindsay wasn’t ready for a new pet but she wanted to help since the shelters are overflowing, so she offered to foster Boston (now known as Tucker). It didn’t take very long before Tucker (as Lindsay put it) made Lindsay his own and she knew she had to adopt him.
Tucker was rescued from the Lancaster Shelter when Lindsay offered to foster him. His adoption was handled remotely using our new COVID-19 protocols – electronic contract signing and phone consultation.
