From his mom, Mary: I wanted you and RHS to know that our Mr. Tyson, my boxer from RHS passed peacefully Mon. evening. He had partially recovered from some nerve damage in his neck, and was back to his usual self. BUT in doing tests for that, and trips to the vet, we discovered a mass on his pancreas. The vet said it was probably cancer. We didn’t put him through any biopsies etc. Just loved him. He wasn’t in pain, bless his heart. Derek was petting him—as he did quite alot!! and he passed. So peaceful for him. Tyson was my last adoption right before I moved back from TX. I have no RHS dogs anymore. I do have my 2 German Shepherds-from my son and a friend. 3 yrs and 14 yrs.
I just can’t believe he is gone. A perfect dog and so smart. We are heartbroken.
