Our kitten boy, Usher, found his fur-ever home today!! Our silly video of Usher walking on a harness and leash caught the attention of his new mom, Alyssa, because her young cat, Luna, also likes to go outside on a harness and leash. Alyssa immediately decided that Usher would make a great partner for Luna in outdoor adventures and came to meet him at the next MTP. She and her mom stayed with us for over an hour, playing with Usher and talking about Luna.
The home visit was a success and Usher was adopted today! Luna and Usher have their very own “cat wheel” – like a hamster wheel but cat-sized – for indoor running to burn off kitten energy, and a ton of toys and climbing trees. Together, the two cats are going to be very, very spoiled and happy! In addition to Alyssa and Luna, Usher’s new “grand-human” also lives with them, so each cat will have a lap to sit in.
Usher is part of the litter born to feral mama, Vida, in Gladys’ garage. Gladys fostered the kittens until they were weaned and then Usher went to live with Victoria West for the rest of his time with RHS. Thank you Gladys and Victoria for a great tag-team foster job!
